I’ve been using MMO on and off for many years. Lately, I am using it on a regular basis both in the gas and oil of my Expedition. When I use MMO in the gas, I typically see about a 1 mpg improvement in mileage as shown by the vehicle’s computer.

I know ethanol in gas reduces mileage (alcohols don’t have the same potential energy, i.e., btu/oz, than other fuels like diesel or kerosene) so I am wondering if MMO somehow reacts with the ethanol to make a new molecule that releases more energy when it is burned.

I have used mmo in diesel and gas and methonal, no problems. Other places, door locks, hinges,airguns,regular guns, tranny,powersteering pump, loosen rusted shut flashlites, it removes rust and battery junk off of the threads and contacts.  Oh, in the Harley, gas and oil, never a problem.

Hard to disagree with those statements.  Try MMO for yourself, that’s the best way to experience the benefits.

We don’t know exactly how it works But bottom line, it’s a top end lubricant with light detergency added.  My guess is that the MMO simply “keeps everything clean” and lubricated.  And obviously, a clean engine is gonna run better than a dirty one I can’t see it “reacting” any way with the ethanol itself, but ethanol is very DRY, MMO is an “oil” so it puts the lubrication back in the fuel.

been using MMO for decades i would NOT be with out it..  i thing i like about MMO is that my engines start much faster.

I am a big blender of ethanol in my fuel for both vehicles, and I also use MMO in both. I have never noticed a mileage improvement but thanks to both the alcohol in the fuel and the MMO, I have very clean engine innards!
