Regardless of my or your view of the situation, my statement was accurate in that the EPA in no way mandated ethanol for non FFVs. And we agree on the fact that we don’t want mandates from what I can tell. Are you saying ethanol as a fuel should be banned? Because I am in no way indicating that gasoline should be. I just ain’t buying it, but that doesn’t mean I think anyone else shouldn’t do whatever they want.

My thought of the matter is this.

Sure it may not be “mandated” but don’t you think some “dodgy” fueling stations will opt for the 15% ethanol gasoline, so they get their “tax credit” - meanwhile, keeping the “May contain up to 10% ethanol” signs up at the pump, when in fact, the gasoline sold is really 15%.....?

Just a thought......

Yet another reason to use MMO every fill up for that extra lubricity “just in case” I were to accidently run into some.

At this point in time, I can not imagine pump manufacturers and gas stations alike “upgrading” their pumps with “yet another” pump for E-15......if you know what I mean....
