If MMO is so great, if Nascar used it,,could they get a few more laps b 4 refueling, or is this not legal??  I think it would be a great boost to MMO if they used it.

Oh, if only we could get Nascar to approve the use of Marvel Mystery Oil.  Unfortunately, Nascar has rules that prevent the use of any fuel additive during a race.

It would probably do fine, but it would open up all kinds of crooked people using stuff for extra power and that would be a big mess for the honest folks.

Hmmm.... what’s to keep some smart fellow out there from soaking the engine in MMO, before
assembly of the whole car?  “No, We didn’t use any additives during the race!!!” cheese

Doesn’t/Didn’t Nascar at one time sponsor the “zMax” fuel/oil additive?  Or maybe I’ve remembering wrong.....and it was an “individual"/driver.....?

I do find it odd how they’ll sponsor Mobil One oil (Mobil Exxon company), and but then “SUNOCO” is the “official fuel of NASCAR” - wonder why ExxonMobil isn’t both? smile

They’re all the same anyway (though Exxon has a superior fuel because of its Techron additive).

This is a pretty informative blog site, but I have found what You are referring to.

There was a relationship between NASCAR & Z-Max, but this relationship was
dissolved due to a lawsuit filed by the Federal Trade Commission.

The Commission vote to file the complaint was 5-0. It was filed in U.S. District Court
for the Middle District of North Carolina, in Greensboro, January 31, 2001.
