will Marvel Mystery oil help prevent deterioration of rubber gas lines, o-rings and gaskets in early model carbureted engines using gas with 93 octane unleaded E-10 ethanol fuel sold at today’s gas pumps. I have a new 383 stroker motor in my vet and don’t want any future problems.  thanks Stroker

Marvel Mystery Oil is compatible with all the seals commonly found in engines.  The product does have an ingredient that helps condition buna n seals.  With today gasoline containing up to 10% ethanol, we strongly recommend using Marvel Mystery Oil with each fill-up, not only to help the seals, but it also helps replace the lubricity in the fuel that is diminished by the ethanol.
