Use either the quart or gallon size of Marvel Mystery Oil. There are several things that you can do to help quiet the valves. First, if you can leave the car set for a couple of days, then take out each spark plug and pour about 2 tablespoons of Marvel Mystery Oil down each cyclinder. Leave the engine set for 24 to 72 hours before starting the engine.
Also, replace 10 to 25 % of the crankcase oil with Marvel Mystery Oil. For example, if your crankcase holds 5 quarts of oil, the 10 % replacement would be 1 pint of Marvel Mystery Oil and 4-1/2 quarts of your regular motor oil. The 20 % replacement would be 1 quart of Marvel Mystery Oil and 4 quarts of your motor oil.
Lastly, add 4 ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil to your fuel tank for every 10 gallons of gasoline. Do this at every fill-up of gasoline.
