My 2008 Taurus was getting a combined mpg of about 13 mpg. I had less than 11,000 miles on the car. When first purchased it was getting about 24 mpg on the highway. I suspected that the decrease was a poor quality of gasoline, regardless of what brands I used. I even mentioned this to my service manager at the dealer.
I had used MMO previously in some of my cars so I decided to add it to my gasoline again. I only added 4oz to both my oil and my gas tank. I was 12-15 miles from home when I filled the tank. Before I returned home my mileage had increade to over 24 mpg. It has remained the same since. What a great product. Also noticed that the acceleration is smoother and better. My imagination? No I have a computer that indicates MPG. I have used the gas additives like STP and others with no results. Anyone had a similar results?
