I’m sure you are aware Marvel Mystery Oil has been the lifeblood of the vintage Judson Supercharger. The Judson is a sliding vane supercharger made in the ‘50s -’70s and is lubricated and cooled by a Marvel Inverse Oiler positioned in the engine compartment.

It is still a sought after period tuning upgrade for aircooled VWs, Austin Healey Sprites, Corvairs and several other small capacity sports cars.

Although the majority of interest in these blowers is in the US they still have a considerable following worldwide but the availability of MMO seems to be restricted to North America.

Could you tell me if there are any other officially appointed wholesalers in other parts of the world. I know there used to be one here in the UK before Turtle Wax took over the concern but they now seem to have disappeared.

I too wish we sold Marvel in Europe.  I’m working with our counterparts in the UK to find a suitable distributor interested in selling Marvel.  Unfortunately, because Marvel is a hazardous material, the costs of shipping are very high.  So if we do find a distributor, the cost will be high.
I’ll keep the board posted with any progress made.

In the US Marvel Oil has a longstanding reputation which makes a big money advertising campaign unnecessary. To sell enough MMO in Europe to make the operation worthwhile, the profile of the product would have to be lifted from obscurity...not cheap.

There are a couple of stockists in Europe who have made private arrangements to import MMO but the Gallon I bought recently cost the equivalent of $60.

this is great news. at least we woke up sales management

how about selling it through the turtle wax distrubution network ???
or producing it under license in europe ??? this would cut shipping costs a whole lot.
of coarse you also may wishper in my ear whats in it * LOL * so that i can make my own batch *grin* ( just kidding )

The reason why just mentioned is the same reason why i cant take it in my luggage anymore.

i wrote a mail to the belgium company that was mentioned in the other post of mine. 

anyway please keep looking for ways to sell it in europe!! the dollar is low compared to the euro so a good profit must be possible.

got a reply from the address in belgium that 58KG gave me!!
a full gallon will cost a little less then 40 euro’s and its very close to the place i live.

so i am helped out for the moment!! 

I am an American car enthusiast in England and have located some marvel mystery oil which iam starting to sell at some small shows.

I read with interest the multitude of advantages to using MMO and if anyone needs some in the UK drop me an email.
