I have a power steering issue with my 2004 Dodge Dakota.  Intermittently it will be tough to turn the wheel and then will not straighten out.  Someone mentioned that a valve may be stuck in the pump and that I could try about 8 oz of MMO in the power steering fluid reservoir.  Would you recommend this?

Marvel Mystery contains the same base oil as most power steering fluids so there is no problem with compatability of the two fluids.  We see no reason not to try using the Marvel Mystery Oil in the power steering unit.  since we have never tested MMO in power steering units, it may not solve the problem but is sure won’t hurt the unit or damage any seals or parts.
